How charging $0 will make you RICH

Most people think business is just… Build a product. Sell it. Done.

    No one wants to be the first buyer of something unproven but they do once there’s success stories.

  • It forces clarity.
    If no one bites at free then the offer’s broken.
    It also allows you to spot mistakes and improve before charging.

  • It builds proof.
    Results speak louder than ads. Trust is the biggest seller and trust is built through results.

The ONLY way to start a business

You need to find a pain point to solve - Something annoying or something that a lot of people don’t even REALISE they need.

Here’s 3 Pain Points ANYONE can fill

 1. “I need more leads.”
Pain fix = Generate leads with cold outreach, LinkedIn scraping, DM systems, cold email setups).

2. “No/bad website”

2. Offer to solve it for free.

Find 3 people. DM them this:

Hey! I noticed [pain point] and I specialise in solving that! I’m trying to build case studies to start my own business and I’d be happy to do it completely for free. Let me know if you’re interested and I can get started.

All it needs is a simple message. No fancy decks.

3. Make their results your product.

  • Ask for honest feedback - It may hurt but this is how you improve. Take what they say and learn how to eliminate the negatives for your next customer.

  • Record wins, document the finished product, get a testimonial quote.

  • Turn it into case studies - Post it to your social media page. Add it to your website (build it through Lovable if you don’t have one - code SIMON20NL for 20% off)

  • Offer referrals - Let the customer know the price you want to charge and ask for their feedback. Then offer them 10% for every person they refer. Word of mouth is a very powerful marketing tool.

Now you’ve got proof and proof builds trust.

Why is this SO important

Why do people buy from big brands rather than independent small businesses, even when the small businesses seem better….

Trust.

They trust the big brands more.

If they sell to millions every day, they must be good.

Whereas a small business is riskier.

But case studies negate this, it shows potential customers that you’ve done it before… so you can do it again!

  • Repeat this at least 3 times. And go above and beyond to deliver excellency.

  • Collect feedback, testimonials, and proof and turn that into your first pitch deck

  • Once people see it works, start charging.

You’ve been sold a myth.

That if you just work hard, keep your head down and stay patient…

Someone will reward you.

No one is coming to pick you.
You have to pick yourself.
