I’ve probably been pitched to more than any human on earth. And there’s a HUGE mistake 86% of people make.

They tell me what a product does… But not what it means.

Apple’s iPhone has a tonne of features, but it’s the story behind it that made it the most valuable tech brand in the world.

It’s what makes a plain t-shirt feel priceless. It’s what stops a product blending in with the millions of alternatives out there.

Apple led with a feeling. Not battery life and specs. But with revolution, rebellion and innovation.

They sold a passport into the world of “the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers.”

Last week, I met one of the most famous people on the planet and he had no clue who I was 🤣

IShowSpeed has over 130 million followers and he just happened to be right around the corner from me.

A few days earlier, Juztxn (a dreamer from my content) messaged me:

And I knew this was a moment to help him believe again.

So I grabbed my team and chased Speed down the street. I tried to ask him his dream and got shoved aside by security.

Now if there’s one thing entrepreneurship has taught me, it’s this:

Never give up.

Richard Branson called every airline he could to lease a plane before launching Virgin. So I watched Speed’s stream. Tracked him to the next location.

And got told again - “You’re not special. You’re not getting in.”

But I believe I am special. Because I believe we all are.

And moments later… kids in the crowd started pointing:

“It’s Simon Squibb!”

Then two people from Speed’s team came out. They recognised me. They liked what I was doing and they invited me in to meet him.

That’s the power of purpose. Doing good… opens doors.

If you haven’t seen the full clip: You can watch it here.

And please take this as a lesson.

The person who keeps going in the face of rejection, will always go further than the one who fears it.

See you next week!
